Taiping oh taiping
After 3 years i visited my birthplace, it was such a wonderful experience. Well thanks to my cousin brother Vigna else i wouldn’t have got such a enlightening dayss..
First was his Wedding at Majlis perbandaran taiping on 25th Nov, we woke up as early as 7:30am (not tht early 
) , bfast straight shoot off to hall for Kolam decor, infact my cousin Vignes has already completed the kolam.. wejust need to organize the lights and clean up the entrance. Once tht is completed we rushed back home..
here comes the most difficult part,, tie’ing’ saree,, whooooyooo.. My aunt Choo rescued us. she helped and guided ( my dad complains that we’re not taking interest learning to tie one..

My and my sis duty is to welcome people at the entrance.. this is the normal job task given during any relatives wedding…dang !! Manage to meet up with many relatives from my daddy’s side..it was a total reunion.. some of them i met when i was a kid..20 years back..brought back some memories.
The same day evening we went for supper , I had the best mouth watering kueh tiow.. Cost about RM2 only but a i didn’t expect a big and huge plate ( in KL it would easily cost RM6) !! 
, delicious the vegetables are fresh. To quench thirst i had Air mata Kuching for RM0.80 !! Cheap tho !! The place is called as Pusat Penjaja Taiping (PPT).
Next day I had same kueh tiow goreng but at different place this is at "cashier Market , old Fajar" near main town on Taiping. But it didn’t taste tht good compared to PPT. Before we head back to home , my cousin bought alot of Nyonya kueh ( those sticky and yummy) which is again my fav and you can only get the good angkue kueh here.
On the same day we went to Chinese Seafood near Lake Gardens, my uncle throw us a treat..Udang Curry, Baby Kailan, Mix vege + squids + mushroom wrapped in egg, steamed fish, thai chicken with hot plate beancurd, and chinese jasmine tea to wash our oily throat.. the food was fresh and ever and again yes delicious. It is like giving some taste sense to my tongue again..
Later tht night, my cousin Vigna anne drove us down to Lake Garden, i passed by my ex ex ex school Convent Klian Pauh where I started my primary days in a fully stricken catholic school. The school looked so different , I wonder whether the old teacher’s are still around Mrs.Jambulingam ( Music teacher) , Mrs. Robert, Puan Soh..etc.. Along the way my memories reversed to 18 years ago back..(flash back)
, down the road I manage to catch Musuem, Prison (Landmark to school) , King Edward Secondary school……. all looked so different now. Although the building is old but it was repainted and kept very clean.
