Miri - City of Oil
I reached Miri on 17th Sept, the weather was chill. We took cab to Grand Palace hotelnear Pujut. Along the way there are huge houses aka mansions..the road are empty, could be it is weekend. What surprises me was the roundabout.. it is as big as "mini taman permainan" in our housing area 
..hehehe. Also manage to catch glimpse of Long houses.
Once we checked in to the hotel, my collegue’s cousin Haasrol took us for lunch, we ate authentic mee of sarawak "Mee-Kolok" looked something in Maggie but much finer. After filing our tummy we went to Grand Old Ladyat Canada Hill, This is the first oil well in Malaysia and depicted all the glory after Miri lost it virginity drillers.
