last year september , i joined new company as service level manager, i got a piece of shocking news waiting. 
.. we need to fly to france the next day..
this was the email i received….
the first thing struck me.. Visa..Credit Card and money to survive.. i was paranoia..luckily my mom was there to bail me out..special guy was also there.. so tht day did my last minitue shopping…bought boots, muffler to keep me warm..
3rd Sept..
13 hour flight almost whacked me down.. so tired, backache..boring..couldn;t sleep….reached Charles De Goule airport, after airport clearance and some run about finding for eurostar we manage to get out feeder bus to the train station…i got a little worried ..imagine staying in a country tht couldnt speak english and hate english..i inhaled the chilled air breeze in france 
..till my nose berdarah.. ooops.. the weather is very icy cold.. and with my bad sinus.. it started to bleed..
eurostar from charles de goule to Seclin took about 1.5 hour.. nice scenery..country side, cows, farmers.. grape yeards..it was tremedously magnificient. For someone whom loves mother nature it is blessing in disguise…
We landed in Lille, busy day since it is sunday. It was kinda of weird wit many security polices patrolling around, we came to know that they have found unidentified object lying on the road wrapped suspected to be explosive..
although my hotel, crystal crowne just a stone throw away but we need walk almost 1KM carrying all the luggagaes..phewwwww.
Jasmindar (Gen.Mgr), Vilves (Serv.Level.Mgr), Sebastardian (Cust.Mgr) and accompanied by Project Mgr went for the 3 weeks trainings to understand Fleet Ops, Standardization,KPI,Contract, Businness OU and Functionals. I have few things parked under my head Tech & Ops, SLA, Vendor Management & Ancilliary stuffs..phewww tht is alot..anyway i know i managed it very well.
First day in AO Office in Seclin,we was taken in a Mercedez Benz (dunno which series) to office, comfy as ever but per route took abt 30min to reach..cost abt 40 Euro. Marc Andrade from Project took us to Seclin office and we was introduced to OG Mgr Stephane Cousin ( supposed to be pronounced as "kusan")..Service Manager -Agnes (Ainyas) and Project Manager from the Paris office Jean Francois.
Mainframe is not new to me neither my GM so we picked up the business requirement very well. The trainer are Pascal & Clive Bottomley from UK Office…very smarty guy !..
On the second day we went to Authentic French Cuisine. It is a fine dining, i was given menu card but i left it to jean francois to make the orders. He ordered foie gras, fish in honey and desert..not forgetting red and white wine.. Foie gras arrived.. i was shocked to see because it is actually raw fatty geese liver, i doesn;t want to make Jean disappointed … when i cut through the liver.. blood was oozing out
.. and it is supposed to mixed with the herb and eat with french bread but me being trully asian.. i almosed puked 
.. but.. i controlled and ended up drinking load of wine and swallowing the bread.
I had a bad day, i was highly drunk by then.. my stomach filled with red and white wine..i coudln;t even walk straight.. but no one knows about it..once i reach the hotel room.. i drenched my self under the shower for almost 20 min, and had a early night. However the whole night i suffered from Gastric and vomit
..lesson to be learn, don;t act smart and don;t anyone choose make decision for you..hehehe
