Prenup or Pre Nuptial Agreement is a term that is commonly used nowdays, It is making agreement/contract before marriages between couples or even civil union. Few countries encourage this method ie France, Germany and even Canada. The content of the agreement varies, it could range from monetary, lands or property that needs to be given or paid to either couples incase of breakup’s or divorce after marriages. Although this seems to reduce number of divorces but the number isn’t significant enough to stop protruding high rate of divorces everday. There are also cohabitation agreement between unmarried couples..

Laws in each country varies depending on the legality. But it is something to be frowned upon, because marriage doesn’t seems to be marriage anymore & corrupting the whole meaning of it. Although this is well known among couples but there is no enforcement, and the agreements must be submitted to each lawyers for verification , in some cases private judge are retained to ensure neither of them is coerced to get the agreement approved . Oaths are taken infront of the Judge and some instance it is videotaped and kept by the lawyers represented.

Prenup is not the best solutions but it helps to resolve property disputes that mostly taken to Court and prolonged for years..same time assets is protected. We’re aware some marriages happen just for the sake of money or property , with prenup this might be avoided (might ONLY) altough it is not true always..

My personal comment would be no one get’s married in view of getting divorce, instead of using Prenup there are some family laws that be used to bind the financial gathering between the couples. By the way prenuptial agreements are very expensive, the solicitors tend cut-throat and the term that is used in the agreement isn’t something easy to digest. In a simple word there are many other ways to make a marriage works without involving the laws, involving the laws might be seen lack of trust with each other, however with the current era.. things are unjustifiable, lastly the law is not implemented in Malaysia yet.  

There will be a month in a year where I will frequently injure myself, it could be anything such as falling down, cut on finger’s or leg or just anything that is painful. Yes it is happening again.. in the month of July. For the past few days continuosly some how rather even how careful am I, I got a cut in my fingers, some plank fell on feet, some sharp thorns scratched my leg, for no reasons my leg has a wound, I almost tumbled and fell down.. almost, luckily I manage to grip on the staircase rail. It is so painful….

Beginning of the story flicked my heart terribly, the hardship that King Chola gave on Ramanuja follower, Rangarajan Nambi is heart wrenching. The eagle being Vahana of Lord Shriman Narayana is being arrowed, the Namam that is being wiped from forehead and the way Lord Sri Renganathar being pulled from the temple gives me goosebump till now !! I don’t want to talk much about the storyline as it is very much perfect I would say. Theoretically to understand the story deeply we need to know the actual meaning of Dasavatharam ( Koorma, Matsya, Balaramar, Raman, Parasuram,Varaha,Krishna,Vamana,Narasimha, Kalki) avatars. The movie has good blend of History, Theories , Science, Nature & God. We can plan anything  but at the real end GOD conquers everything. Although I don’t belong to Iyengar neither follows Visishtadvaita philosophy ,Im a devotee of Lord Shriman Narayana. My forefather’s belongs to Country-State where Lord ShrimanNarayana is the Ultimate God. The state is rich because of him !!

The story will be eye opener for many, not to diverse too much into Science & technology till it will be NO use to human but only destruction. Western countries are heavily investing money on re-inventing more technologies which will benefit the rich not the poor. We can see and witness in the century itself- Co2 Emmision and global warming. Rapid growth of technologies are shrinking the size of globe, nevertheless destroying the nature and we’re living in "fake" world. There is no word for true love or place for emotional. The best way of living is growing technology at steadfast without forsaking our human values and at the same time don’t leave aside GOD. Atlast HE conquers !!

So guy’s watch the movie and go with a reverse psycology, try to understand the story.. Do some research on Butterfly effect & mathematical equations. It would help.

Ultimately & ironically the actual HERO of the STORY is OUR LORD SHRIMANARAYANA!

It was a great pleasure & happiest moment to meet up with my best/good friend Sandy @Singapore last week. After a gap of good 2 years here we’re back. CHIJ St.Joseph Convent is where our friendship bloomed, although she is much elder to me but we clicked very well . She has witnessed all my ups & downs and always there whenever I needed her. She is skilled in counselling and providing valuable advises & very family oriented person.We share same stands and mindset. Sandy’s big day is approaching and very happy that I will be part of it in few months to come.

EPF savings for retirement may not be enough in near future to come. As I always mentioned in my previous write-up most of their savings are finished within less than 5 years. Again with the oil price surge, there is high chances of hiking inflation rate.

What you need to know before withdrawing from EPF ?

1. Check your eligibility, anything excessive of 20% out of 50K from your EPF Account 1 is a good start for your investment.Minimum of investment is 1K.
2. Do not compare the returns from EPF which is 5.15% dividends with your unit trust returns within next 1 year. Unit Trust Investments is not a short term investments, the growth takes atleast few year with minimun 3-5 years.
3. Gain Capital growth significantly over the years.Currently the minimum returns from Unit Trust is 17% per year.
4. Always evaluate the performance of Composite Index against the Equity Fund that you have invested . If you have invested in Bond Fund then check the performance upbeat on Fixed Deposit rate. Do not mix this performance and confuse yourself.
5. Try to understand which fund your’re investing your money in, read the prospectus and check the past market performance for few years. The UT Agent will normally advise their client but it is important to take note as well where the funds are going & the management.
6. Under the new scheme Service Charge for EPF investors is reduced to 3% compared to 5-6% previously, this another drastic steps introduced by the Financial Instituition to encourage more investors.
7. Most of the Unit Trust Companies (Banks or Insurance Instituition) are well build with state of art Sophisticated Systems that would be able to produce the return and valuation of the funds performance.
8. Read Financial/Investment magazines such as theedgedaily & Personal Money.

There are more information that one need to know before you perform the withdrawal, however this would be a good quick start.With new regulations, even youngsters would be able to start investing and diversifying their portfolios allocation over time period.If this write up able to change mindset of our young investors to start investing from now , It would be awesome.
Currently due to the domino effect in US, the Unit price are quite low, instead of normal 25cents, you’re able to purchase the units at even 17cents.

Ie.

With Minimum investment of 1K @ $0.25= 4000 Units
With Minimum investment of 1K @ $0.17= 5882 Units

So you will be getting extra 1882 units !!!!! The growth of your investment is based on per units.

What are the tools I need ?

WinXP,Of course IPOD Touch & wifi connection. If you know Linux command that would be added advantage.

Pre-healthcheck required ?

Yes, ensure your ipod is fully charged. Wifi is enabled and ipod able to detect the signals. Uncheck the auto-lock

Softwares requirement ?

Download ziphone (www.ziphone.org) , the software don’t harm your ipod ur your pc & putty.exe (putty.org)

Steps to jailbreak.

1.Install ziphone on your laptop.

2. Select the option Jailbreak ONLY from the left Panel. Ensure ITunes is running and it is connected to your Ipod.

3.You will see some funny things/noise happening to your Ipod. Don’t get panic. The installation takes less than 5 min . There will be auto shut & Reboot of your ipod.

Next Steps.

This is required to free up some space and move the /Applications directory out of the root partition and move it to /var/root instead. If you are NOT COMFORTABLE WITH SSH COMMANDS DON’T do this STEP.

4.Enable wifi in your Ipod, Go to Settings Wifi and from the configurations, grep the IP address of the ipod ,Should be starting from 192.168.xxx.xxx.

5. Start up your putty, enter the hostname same as your ipaddress. SSH to the IP.

#ssh -l root <ip address>

6. You will be prompted for login id: ( if you see this screen, then you’re safe because the connections works perfectly). Supply the login as root and password as alpine.

7.# cat /etc/fstab
/dev/disk0s1 / hfs rw 0 1
/dev/disk0s2 /private/var hfs rw 0 2

8.# cp -R /Applications /var/root/ROOT_Applications
# rm -rf /Applications && ln -s /var/root/ROOT_Applications /Applications

9. Issue a df -k  command to see the free space.

10. Try hard rebooting your IPOD, Once it is up. Check whether you could see Installer Icon. If you see them then the installation is successful, however more issues might arise, likewise what I encountered.

What issues that I face :-

1. When i try to execute Installer, i encountered error message Main script execution error.

So first thing to do is, ssh again to the same IP. Check the Groups and User permissions for the /Applications Folder.

It should be root:wheel for (/Applications ) #chown -R root:wheel /Applications

I rebooted again and again encountered with same error. SO some research is required…

2. Looks like it is still permission issue , issue the following command to resolve the error..

chmod +s Installer.app/Installer
chown -R root:wheel Installer.app

Yes the above fixed the issue permanently.

Now you would be able to Install your apps…happily. Njoy…

I have been receiving umpteen calls from the same mystery number for past one month, many times during early morning when im still sleeping or late evening. Each time I answered the call either it get’s disconnected or no response from the caller - just  a blank call. I got sick and tired. The number seems not in service when tried to call the same number..

Today I decided to google the number to find out whether it is originating from some Scam-companies, Im flabbergasted when I saw the result.. Looks like I’m not rowing the rough sea  alone , many innocent "victims" are IN as well, but the reason behind doesn’t make sense at all. I know what to do next

There are few things that you need to take note when renovating the house, it is crucial and critical so that you won’t land up in a mess. Good Lesson to be learned.

1. Ensure all the extension from every corner of your house is approved by Majlis Perbandaran. Please fog out extra $$ to get the "Pelan" and certified.

2. Please relook/recheck the drawing/flooring plan after certification, get someone to explain to you if nothing make sense. Draftsman is the best one to explain.

3. Dont trust your contractor 100%, do some research and ask around for any extension that you would like to do.

4.Press your contractor to put everything in black and white. Example if you’re extending your kitchen,ensure tiles,plastering ,plumbing and painting is included in the quotation. Else, last minute high chances of turning the table on you.

5.Try to look out for atleast 3 quotation and select the best that suits you and your $$, If you try to cut down so much the contractor might end up doing some lousy job.

6. Check all the raw materials used such as bricks, woods, planks, cement and iron rods. You may want to assign someone to supervise the usage of the raw materials and quality of the item used.

7. After cement is completed for your walls, try to brush your face against the wall, if it is smooth then the work is properly done else you may want to ask your contractor to re-plaster the cement again.

8. Finally after completion, the contractor must apply/spray pesticides, Please get the agreement from the contractor and include it in the quotation. It should be free.

Never release all the money, give them chunk by chunk and ask for warranty for any cracks or damages, atleast 18months.. the longer the better. So it is advisable to hold few thousands first.

It had been good old months since I started blogging.. Im back now to hit the space again

I just woke up from my sleep after swallowing 2 fever tablets. I’m feeling very uneasy with my fever since yesterday evening as it prevents me from doing my work as usual. With all the pain, feverish I drove back from JB to KL this morning..I had no choice as I need to appear in the office tommorow…not forgeting 3 meetings.

Ouchhh my body still aches horribly with pulsating headaches !
Leave all that aside, Today I need to write about " Irratai Kilavi" (IR), well it doesn’t mean Double Old lady !! The meaning totally differ…Iratai Kilavi is gramattical term widely used in tamil preferably for Poem or rhyme, One can refer to Tholkapium.Iratai killavi is nothing but repeated sounds - syllable without any meaning. If you could recall Kannodu Kanbathelam song from Jeans, the meaning is clearly described. " Sala -Sala irattai killavi , Taga-Taga Irattai Killavi undalo tamilil undalo , Pirithi vaithal Nyayam illai, Pirrithi paarthal porulum illai, Rendalo irandum ondralo" Most of ARR songs embedded IR widely,  which easily make one song hit, this is world renowned truth, well reasearched and analysed. But mind you this words is meaningless if it survive as single word, try breaking them..!! Example most of you would have watch Roja today " Chinna- Chinna -China asai ( double words) and everyone knows this song won many awards and we hymm till today…Ilayaraaja is one of them..Many people perhaps haven’t listened to Raaja Sir’s "Sanghathil paadatha" Song, it became hit very recently after almost 15 years, Thanks to Jaya TV for screening the Maestro’s live concert " Andrum Indrum Endrum". He performed beautiful Violin instrumentation for this song at ITALY.

"..Sindhi then senthoora ithalgalil , sindhi then paigindra uravvai, Konjum thaan Konjathaan.." Song from Auto Raja ( Sanghathil Paadatha Kavithai). "Sindhithen .. Sindhi Then"  have double meaning it could be either "Think/Recalling" or "Honey drops" same goes to " Konjumthan .. Konjathan" it could mean
"love passionately" or "a little" , Marvellous Song. Listen to this song completely, try to digest the lyrics..Awesome.Some history of me learning tamil, I never attend any tamil school to learn tamil , my tamil is soooo bad during school days. When I was in Primary school I didn’t utter any tamil words with my classmates, not only me well the whole class is like that !! Till now we don’t know the reason..It is my own initiative, starting is very painful as I have no one to help me, Thanks to Mr.Murugesu ( I took tamil class from him when Im 14years old) at school. In the mid year the POL (People’s Own language) class got scrapped off, we’re left without a tamil Sir since then. He was my backbone, He used to scold me if my pronounciation is wrong !! followed by The Late Mr.Uthuman Ghani Sir and Meenakshi Sabapathy who have instilled and be a role model in my life to read, learn and live tamil.

OK time to take my medicine now…

It has been long time wish to have dinner with my best collegues and also in a way to celebrate the SRA award that all 4 of us receive recently.. It is a remarkable atmosphere at Chutney’s accompanied with Hindi beats, We had had fun, laughs and joy !!  Not to forget, we lose our way to KL-Putrajaya exit & got stuck at Kuchai Lama Entrepeuner park alongside Pasar Malam… I tend to lose way if I get distracted while driving…, Well it won’t happen every time, It only happen if my mind is distributed disturbed.

As usual Im very hungry but unable to finish my little food , Well I did get a funny stare from opposite ;-P
