Ayirathil Oruvan The ectasy

Aayirathil Oruvan ( AO) has been eye opener for movie industry unlike the normal love story masala or some funny-making-serious movie. The concept is amazing however viewers stumbles upon the Linguistic tamil that is used in the second half of the movie, a sublingual would be better. The ‘Astala Vista’ kicks in on the second part of the movie, I personally find the second part is informative though it is based on myth and doesn’t depicts actual Chola Dynasty.

I feel the movie has a bit of Indiana Jones touch as well as Maghadeera (telugu) , both are in search of archeo activist or past life rememberance.Song is felicitously superb, the clip is well evolved. Nithyashree is awesome for Chola Ectasy with a blend mixture of Telugu and Tamil.

Thumbs up!!emoticon

The MGR version Aayirathil Oruvan and 2009 Ayirathil Oruvan has some similarities, watch it for yourself to spot.

My personal opinion, the movie is worth watch only if you understand the second part of the movie else it is like searching needle in haystack.

H1N1 Medical Checkup in Malaysia

I landed KLIA from Los Angeles and given a yellow sheet to test against H1N1. I visited the nearest clinic at my place after 3 days of Quarantine. However, The Doctor is quite terrified and reluctant to check me. He kept on looking at the yellow sheet, untill I started chatting with him. The first question he asked " Why did you come here" ?? , Im puzzled and horrified at same time. When I answered for H1N1 check-up, he started rambling and requested me to go to General Hospital instead of Clinic.

It seems if Im infected with H1N1 and diagnosed through his clinic, the clinic will be closed for 7 days and he will loose his business for entire week !!!  Since I didn’t develop any symptoms against H1N1 and safe to unquarantine. But it is a ordeal to go through the 7 days at home , hoping for best of health condition !!

Raman Thediya Seethai

After many months of busy working schedule, I went all the way to Leboh Ampang get VCD of Raman Thediya Seethai. Cheran proved himself again. This guy is something , His Movie creates or develop special inner feelings that sprung deep from our heart, somewhere rather it knocks a special sense. This movie gave us or alteast me a inner strength to go against all obstacles in life and achieve. Though the story line is about Cheran going after many failed marriage proposals, it is the same concept that applies in our life, to go against the hurdles and challenges part of life. Appreciation to others and thankful to those who moulded us from nowhere to what we’re today. Life is the best experience for human and nothing could ever beat that. The second heroine of the movie, eloped just before the wedding thus lead to cancellation of his marriage. He acted well in that scene. He will meet her again at Nagoor, he will go all the way to help her and unite her with father - Mannivannan. There are very few man whom will take the lead and guide the women in their life, show her the right path and be with her through thick and thin. They can be quiet and soft spoken but their advises will knock all the senses that is lost in our brain, it is like finding needle in a haystack… Alltogether for me it is Seethai Thediya Raman… Watch this movie to find out why almost all Cheran’s wedding proposal is rejected, will he marry the girl that he loves ? Good story line.

True Story : Juvenile Crime of a Student

This is another true story that happened in JB. Name has been changed for privacy purpose.

Aravind is a pet boy for his parents, being the youngest and only son , he is the apple eye of his parents. He gets things done his way. During his free time that is after school he will play football with his friends in the " Taman padang". His parents let him to go on his way, he is also deemed to be the lucky boy that brought fortune to his parents.

His peers suggested to play online " counter -strike game" instead of football, Aravind lied to his parents, instead of going to tuition he started going to cybercafe religously with his peers. There he is exposed to many vices including illegal gambling and smoking. This illegal activity has been going on for few months, apparently some neighbours alerted his parents abt Aravind’s behaviour and seen in Cybercafe’s for hours. His parents brushed off the complaints as they have trust in their son.

One day Aravind gambled and lost all the money and started borrowing money from Cybercafe boss for few hundreds, the boss is none other than famous " Ah-Long". When the boss confronted money from Aravind, he took the blade knife and slashed the Ah-Long’s wrist and ran away.

The rest, well… He got arrested at such a young teenage age and was jailed for few days. Aravind’s parents used all the will-power of money and manage to get him out !!

Now he is a grown-up boy who didn’t excel in studies but his parents are still spoiling him!!! ;-(

True Story around corner

This is a true story that happened 10 years ago @ one of the famous school in Pasir Gudang
Johor. This story also proves how movies influence students at young age. There is this
form 2, 14 years old girl - Seetha ( name changed for privacy purpose) and a form 1 boy Vinesh -a 13 years old boy. Vinesh is quite handsome and good looking which attracted many indian girls in the school. He receives love letter from many Indian girls, the letter varies from biodata details to very extreme details . Seetha caught herself entangled in Vinesh’s look and fall in love with him, Mind the age !! She tried everything she can to win over his love but all her efforts failed miserably.
One day she wrote suicide note to Vinesh if he didn’t agree to love her she will commit suicide in the school’s toilet. Seetha’s friend handed over the note to Vinesh and after reading he ran to the girl’s toilet accompanied with Seetha’s friend(s). Inside the toilet, Vinesh saw Seetha with few of her classmates. Seetha took out a blade and threathened to slit her wrist if Vinesh declined. Vinesh is forced and finally agreed to love her. Not only that Seetha handed over a " Thaali" - Sacred Nuptial knot to Vinesh to tie around her neck to solemnize their wedding in the school toilet. Poor boy after much threat and agony he tied the thaali and placed the sacred kum-kum on Seetha’s forehead. Her friends threw yellow rice !! Perhaps toilet flush would be their kettimellam ;-) Lolz !!
Im unsure what happened after that, I heard that the girl eloped from the house and started
staying at Vinesh’s place. Seetha comes to school with red kum-kum, soon i heard both of them is dismissed from school with disciplinary action.Sad thing is that ,A sacred event as such took place in a toilet and I wonder whether the student understood the true meaning of marriage and it’s purpose.

An encounterance with Bogus Astrologer

This message is never intended to hurt anyone or any astrologer.

Recently there is a advertisment published in low-range newspaper about Astrology service in KL. The astrologer comes from India , seems to have special mystic powers where by he is able to predict problems just by looking as us. One of my close friend after reading the advert made appointment and went over to meet him. She even took a day off.
The swamiji sits in a room and there is a intepreter. The Swamiji asked for my friends name, Nakshatra (Star) and Raasi (If he can predict problems, why even he needs this bit of info, Funny eh !!). Each time the astrologer predict something the interpreter will interpret from Hindi to english.
He started off telling her lucky number, color and days. Also mentioned that there are many jealousy in her office. He mentioned that she has some problem in getting married and there is a dosham. He also asked her why there is a delay in her marriage,  my friend responded saying that her parents are looking out for marriage proposals .The interpreter harshly told off my frend that she is big enough to look for one on her own, he even had a cheek to tell her that "do you want a way to get guys smitten and attracted to you" , "don’t you feel horny looking at any guys"… The astrologer asked her for RM2700 to ensure there is no blockage in her marriage..It seems he will remediate her problems and guaranteed that by July 2009 she will certainly get married.
My friend is quite upset with the whole incident and walk off.. He even reminded her to pay off the consultation fees of RM50. My frend noticed many poor Indian girls is accompanied by the astrologer Swamiji’s Sishya’s to withdraw money…This girls doesn’t seems to be from well to do family.

FYI.. The main reason she went there is just to see the golmal of Bogus Astrologer and best part is that she is married.. Lolz.
The story above summarize how badly we’re traumatized by astrologer’s that are lying through their nose. Just to add to the spice, I do remember reading there is a remediation for those under influence of Naga Thosham, remember vedic mentioned that there is no way to remediate Naga Thosham ( I got this info by reading, unsure whether it fact or not). The remediation is just by prayers and walkthrough of life.

Sayings from Warren Buffet - Financial Guru

It is good to start the New Year’s posting by Wise men message.

Excerpt from Warren Buffet..

Every new year, I adopt a couple of old maxims as my beacons to guide  my future. This self-prescribed therapy has ensured that with each passing year, I grow wiser and not older. This year, I invite you to tap into the financial wisdom of our elders along with me, and become financially wiser.

Spending: If you buy things you don’t need, you’ll soon sell
things you need.

Savings: Don’t save what is left after spending; spend what is
left after saving.

Hard work: All hard work brings profit; but mere talk leads only
to poverty.

Laziness: A sleeping lobster is carried away by the water
current.

Earnings: Never depend on a single source of income.

Borrowings: The borrower becomes the lender’s slave.

Accounting: It’s no use carrying an umbrella, if your shoes are
leaking.

Auditing: Beware of little expenses; a small leak can sink a
large ship.

Risk-taking: Never test the depth of the river with both feet.

Investment: Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

I’m certain that those who have already been practicing these
principles remain financially healthy. I’m equally confident that those who resolve to start practicing
these principles will quickly regain their financial health.

Let us become wiser and lead a happy, healthy, prosperous and peaceful life.

Satyam Movie... Comedy

It is always good feeling to catch some nice movies after spending tiring days at office. Well I did the same last weekend, the most talkable and hype movie "SATYAM".
It is a horrendous nightmare watching the movie crappy Cop story. I don’t understand why COP, why can’t it be a fireman ??? If compared, fireman’s work is much more challenging compared to Cop, once burnt they are disfigured Unlike cop they can still be saved by Doctors. We have seen enough hype from Thangapathakam Shivaji, Waltervetrivel Sathyaraj, Kaakha-Kaakha and latest Vettaiyadu vilayadu. Pokiri is another  goosebump giving movie which I enjoyed with fun and thrill. Most movies, COP is being shown as warrior that saves country and bring justice to country… im unsure if this is for real.I just don’t understand why Nayantara is being exploited as a cukcoo journalist that does nothing much but carrying a video cam with Premji, Her role is a waste didnt depict actual character. Still immaturely playing with neigbours kid.. A true powerful Journalist  role can be seen in "Virumandi" by Rohini. What piss me off is the Climax, Vishal is pointing gun at the 2 gundas but both of them stand still and try to talk in silly manner and it is being watched by hundreds of COPS again (where the warriorness gone) , Semma Jokku !! Why can’t  they just kick his leg and run away. The best part it is being telecasted whole over India and TV even existed in secluded village !!! old granny is watching his mind boggling speech and drenching in tears, another man is applauding " Appadi Poodu" Ehmmm, we have watched enough in Mudhalvan.
Overall I don’t see anything different from rest of the movies, nothing much to hype and talk about.
